Alpha Topup, a B2B solution that provides data and recharge services, has announced that it will accept Shiba Inu (SHIB) for mobile recharge. Alpha Topup’s website shows the company has 150 million users across 160 countries. Furthermore, the company has a network of more than 1200 mobile operators.
According to an official tweet, Alpha Topup has named SHIB as ” the hottest meme of the year”. This development has the potential to open the door to a whole new user base for Shiba Inu (SHIB).
SHIB is one of the popular meme crypto projects next to Dogecoin. As a result, some companies have tried to incorporate SHIB payments in their operations. SHIB fans, commonly known as the ‘SHIB Army’, have proven to be a formidable force in the crypto market. They often work together to accomplish common goals for the project. It is not surprising to see many companies trying to exploit SHIB’s large fan base, as they do not want to miss out on serving such a large number of users.
Shiba Inu prices continue to fall
Despite the increase in SHIB adoption, the price of SHIB continues to fall. This token has dropped 3% in the last 24 hours and almost 20% in the last month.
SHIB is currently facing resistance around $0.00000904, with support at $0.00000836.
The SHIB has been in recession since hitting a yearly high in early February. The daily chart seems to indicate that SHIB is in a downtrend.

Shiba Inu also seems to be following Bitcoin, having recently completed a bearish inverse head and shoulders pattern. There is a chance that BTC could fall even further, to between $22k and $25,000.
